Physical features (height, colouring, fashion sense, etc): Aurora is 5'7, average body type, olive skin, dark hair, dark eyes, and prefers plain Muggle skirts and blouses to robes. She also has a faint hint of a Latin accent even after all the years she spent in Britain.

Occupation: Professor of Astronomy at Hogwarts.
Hobbies/what they do in their spare time: Reads; writes various letters, which are always unsent; drinks a lot of wine; stargazing.

Boggart: Even after the war, Aurora's Boggart is still a clown. She is unsure of what to think of this.
Patronus(if applicable): A Dormouse.

Likes: Stars, planets, good wine and good conversation.
Dislikes: Quidditch, people who are too forward, and peach pie.
Personality in three words: Shy, guarded, polite.
Where they are/where they want to be: Hogwarts, but is beginning to think she'd prefer to be anywhere else.

Sexual orientation/what attracts them: While she had never really taken the time to consider a sexual orientation, she would technically be considered Bisexual. She is also attracted to the proverbial "bad boy", and the pattern seems to establish itself with women as well.
Children - have any? want any?: Aurora has none, and can't imagine that she ever will. Although, who knows?

Backstory/History - aka, where they have been between DH and Ascendant, and beyond:

Aurora was born in Argentina, but moved to London when she was 7, following the death of her Father, Elliot. An only child, she and her mother lived with an aged Great Aunt for several years, until she received her Hogwarts letter, and her mother took a house in Hogsemede to be closer to her daughter.

Shy and quiet, Aurora's school years were uneventful, and she had few friends, though no enemies to speak of. She did alright in her classes, but flourished in Astronomy, a subject she went on to study at the Santa Fe University for Magic. After 3 years following her degree spent giving private lessons she was asked to teach at Hogwarts, a position she happily accepted, and where she has been ever since.

The war found Aurora unprepared, but eager to help in any way she could. She joined the Order of the Phoenix, and continued her role as Professor at Hogwarts. During her time in the Order she had various tasks, though mainly she listened for information, using her reputation as harmless to earn trust and find out what was needed.

Shortly after joining the Order, she came once again into contact with Severus Snape, then on the run for the murder of Albus Dumbledore. With the reluctant blessing of Minerva McGonagall, Aurora continued a correspondence with the suspected Death Eater, a man who she had always loved.

She worked towards proving his innocence, and during that time, he shared information to the Order. The correspondence and relationship continued until his appointment of Headmaster at Hogwarts. His death, as well as the deaths of two others, her best friend Nymphadora Tonks, and the rouge Death Eater Sturgis Podmore, have effected Aurora deeply, and even two years later she feels as though she will never heal.

How the war affected them:

Aurora has been continuing her position as Astronomy Professor, drinking much more then she probably should, and searching for some validation in a life she no longer feels is her own. She longs for the days before the war, when she could still be untouched, and hide behind lofty ideals and secret crushes.
